Quanita is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Board-Certified Sex Therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families to navigate challenges ranging from communication and connection issues to enriching intimacy and fostering emotional resilience.

Her professional journey began at Halifax Behavioral Services, where she gained extensive experience as a program therapist, working with teenagers dealing with anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Quanita understands the profound impact ADHD has on teens and adults alike, emphasizing skill-building and incorporating the latest research to help her clients succeed.

Quanita also specializes in supporting individuals and families dealing with intense emotional dysregulation, including Borderline Personality Disorder. She provides tools and interventions to manage emotional highs and lows, helping families cope and empowering individuals to regain control of their emotions. She is deeply committed to restoring balance to relationships and family systems, understanding that when one person struggles, everyone feels the effects.

With decades of expertise in nutritional lifestyle changes, movement, and holistic health, Quanita integrates a unique blend of skills into her therapy practice. She holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, a Master’s degree in Marketing, and is currently completing a PhD in Clinical Sexology (ABD). This diverse educational background enables her to offer a holistic, evidence-based approach to her clients.

In addition to her therapy credentials, Quanita is certified in Sex Trauma Therapy, Redline First Responder Training, and is a CHEK Holistic Practitioner. As a fitness expert, she brings a comprehensive perspective to wellness, empowering individuals, couples, families, and communities to achieve greater emotional and relational well-being.
